# Guest Pickup Configuration

Guest Pickup is the feature that allows your school to track who picked up a child and when it happened for additional security. Guest Pickup is enabled by task, allowing a school to decide which lessons to add this functionality. Guest Pickup is a mobile feature for phones and tablets.

### Getting Started

To enable Guest Pickup:

1. Navigate to Settings > Product Settings > Global Product Settings and select Guest Pickup from the menu.
2. Click Edit in the upper right.
3. Set the 'Enable Guest Pickup' option to blue

* Require a selection to be made which records the relationship of the adult picking up

  * Provides a list for the instructor to pick from.

  * If a user selects 'Other' they will then be prompted to provide more details:

* Require the initials of the adult picking up to be entered manually

* Require the adult picking up to confirm a security code (the last 4 digits of the child’s emergency contact phone number will be used for the code)

  * Instructors will be prompted with the last 4 digits of the child’s emergency contact number and asked to confirm this code with the guest.&#x20;

  * If the guest cannot confirm, the instructor will be prompted to follow resort procedure for checking out a guest without a confirmed security code.

In order for a flaik user to be able to mark a guest as having been picked up they need the following permissions:
