Scanner Is Offline

If a flaik scanner is offline, that means that the device has lost its cellular or WIFI connections and is not able to communicate with a data network. If there is no connection to a valid data network, the scanner will not be able to communicate with the flaik system.

If a device is offline, scanned data will store to the device until connectivity is reestablished, at which point the device will push the scanned data through to the system. Reference the flaik App "Status Screen" for feedback relating to class submission uploads.

To get a device to reconnect to a cell network, ensure you are in an area where cellular connectivity is regularly available.

If you can not get your device to connect to a cell network, you may connect to an available WIFI network. To connect to an available network, from the lockdown screen, select the "settings" icon, select "WIFI," ensure wifi toggle is set to active, select desired network, provide network key, wait for confirmation of connection.

If no WIFI network is available and you are not able to get the scanner to acquire a cellular signal, please reach out to flaik for assistance or to procure the administrator mode password.
