# Siriusware Integration

## Overview

The flaik POS Integration API enables data flow between your instance of Siriusware and flaik. This integration is crucial for accurately capturing guest and transaction data, enabling resorts to efficiently manage and schedule their staff.

As a point-of-sale system, Siriusware offers a wide range of customization. To ensure seamless data flow between Siriusware and flaik, we have established a set of standards for the way you capture and store lesson and guest data. Complying with these standards is crucial for supporting the flaik & Siriusware integration.

We also have a section regarding Siriusware upgrades. In order to maintain the functionality of the integration, we will need to get together with your IT department to run through some tasks both before and after the upgrade.

Keep reading in this section to find our standards as well as our support strategy for Siriusware upgrades.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledgebase.flaik.com/flaik-knowledge-base/for-it-specialists/1.-resort-pos-integration/siriusware.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
