# POS Integration

Configuration data that bridges the resort's point-of-sale products with flaik's task model. Use this group when your integration needs to translate between a POS product (a Siriusware, RTP, or InTouch product code, for example) and the Flaik task that a sale of that product corresponds to.

Mappings are configured per resort and per season and change rarely — fetch once at the start of an integration session and cache the result.

### Pages in this group

* [**Resort Product Mappings**](https://knowledgebase.flaik.com/flaik-knowledge-base/for-it-specialists/3.-flaik-connect-api/pos-integration/resort-product-mappings) — POS product → flaik task mappings for a season (`GET /api/posintegration/resort-mappings/{seasonId}`). Returns three buckets: private-lesson products, group-lesson products, and additional-guest products.

### Typical use

* **Sales attribution** — translate incoming POS sale records into the flaik task they map to, so downstream reporting can group sales by lesson type, ratio target, etc.
* **Configuration audit** — pull all mappings to surface unmapped products (`mappedTaskId: null`) for the resort to review.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledgebase.flaik.com/flaik-knowledge-base/for-it-specialists/3.-flaik-connect-api/pos-integration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
