September 14 - Scheduling, Availability, Hiring

We've been busy updating the website and would like to share some of the awesome changes that have been made.

In this email, we'll cover the updates we've made to Scheduling, Availability, and Hiring.

We want to keep these concise, so we will be sending more emails in this series to outline what changes we've made in Class Management, Navigation, Reporting, Timekeeping, Training, and Admin Settings. Stay tuned for another one in the next few days.

Change Log:

Scheduling

• Privates - Change History - When you open an individual private, there is now a "Change History" tab that captures changes to the sale that have been made in flaik (reassignment, creation, notes added, etc.).

• Tasks view - Training - Updated the grey training pill to indicate if the employee is a trainer or participant in training. Trainers are indicated with the academic hat that we utilize in the training schedule.

• Scheduling - Task and Instructor View - We've fixed the issue where the lock icon would remain on an instructor even though all tasks and/or sales for that day had been removed.

• Tasks view - Guests Tab - updating the top left number for group lesson products to be how many have been assigned rather than how many haven't been assigned. This ensures the privates item in the inventory tab and the group lessons use the same logic of top left number being number assigned and bottom-right number being the total number.

Availability

• Responses - Availability responses can now be sorted by rank.

• Entering Availability - In the staff experience for selecting work availability, the styling for the "Click here to learn more about scheduling requirements" has been updated to make it more obvious to users.

• Requested Days Off - Option to disable specifying RDOs for a particular Availability Group during their response process.

Hiring

• Talent Pool - Merged rehire / hiring recommendation in Talent Pool.

• Talent Pool - Download Previous Employment Data- Added ability to download past season Employment Details in a .csv file.

• Offers - Copy Prev. Employment Data - Added ability to copy past season employment details into current job offer details.

• Job offer email template - Changed hiring job offer email template subject line from “your application for {job title} was successful” to “Your job offer for {offer.jobTitle} at {resort.name}.” to be more inclusive of returning staff that may not need to apply to receive an offer.

• Talent Pool - Removed Employment Wages field in Talent Pool to remove confusion with Offer Wages.

• Talent Pool - Added the ability to view previous season employment details in the column selector.

• Talent Pool - Added the ability to view the latest evaluation rating in columns.

Admin Tips:

• In the inventory in Tasks view, there is a series of 2 numbers next to each Scheduling Category or individual task. The number on the left references how many instructors have been assigned to that task. The number on the right references how many sales we have captured a record for within that particular product or category.

• When updating wages to send in your job offers, if you bring up the columns for the previous season's wage and the Job offer wage side by side in Talent Pool (using the gear icon), it is easy to update based on the staff member's past wage rates.
