### **Landing Page**

Upon opening the flaik App, you will have up to 5 selectable options on the App Landing Page. These options are as follows:

“Status,” “Set Scan Mode,” "Transfer Student," "Pass to Tag," and  "Guest Lookup" (the artist formerly known as "Check Ticket").&#x20;

\*This screen will not display "Pass to Tag" for Resort Operations that do not have flaik GPS Tracking Devices.

### **Status**

If you select “Status,” you will be led to a “Status” screen which displays information relating to the device usage on that day. For example, you will see headers like, “Number of Classes Scanned Today,” “Number of classes not uploaded Today,” etc.

* If you ever notice classes which have been scanned but are not appearing in Class Management, this is the first place to check the status of those classes.&#x20;
* If the "Classes Not Uploaded" Feedback ever reflects a value greater than "0," there are classes which have not been submitted to the system by the device.&#x20;
* If you ever notice this, select "Upload" to force those classes to upload to the flaik system.

At the top of the “Status“ screen you will see a flaik Icon. (<picture><source srcset="/files/GtZBZbFJ9Fa7yvEJQ3gs" media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)">\<img src="/files/kBk71rP8b0UowlnfQJN6" alt="A close up of a logo

If you select this icon, you will go to the “Admin Status” Screen, which will display information unique to that device, like the SIM ID and Unique Device Identifier (FS-ID), as well as feedback relating to the Operational Configuration, etc.

If your operation were ever to make any changes to existing lesson offerings or programs, and you have edited those areas in "Product Settings" of your flaik site (especially in the scanning modes section), it will be necessary to select "Refresh Scanner Config" to capture these changes to each device.

To exit the Status Screens it will be necessary to use the back arrow functionality. If your resort uses the MC33 Scanner, the "P1" key controls the "back" action.

### **Set Scanning Mode**

If you were to Select “Set Scan Mode” from the app landing page, you would then access a progression of screens where the user would be required to select operation specific details organized something like the following:

Program type -> Class Type -> Class Level -> Additional Fields (if required; ie. lunch location) -> Scan Pass/Tag (or just pass if not a tag operation) -> Review scanned data -> Edit/Rescan or Submit Scanned Data

Once submitted, this is the data which populates the resort specific flaik websites associated to each operation.

### **Transfer Guest**

If you wish to move a student from one existing class to another, you can select the "transfer guest" button on the flaik app landing page. You will then be prompted to scan the pass of the student which you would like to move. After that, you will scan the pass of the instructor of the class who is attached to the lesson that you would like to move the student to.<br>

After scanning the instructor pass, the scanner will work to match that scan to records in the system for that day. If the pass you scan is not in an existing class, an error will be thrown.

### **Pass To Tag**

Pass to Tag has replaced the need to include a Master Class in your scanning modes. You now have the ability to create a Master Class/Attendance Pool from the flaik app landing page. This functionality is great for scanning a guest into a general group prior to the formation of the actual lesson. This could be done to ensure that guests are known to the system prior to the formation of classes, and can help establish if any guests have been overlooked in the scanning process when forming classes.

After selecting "Pass to Tag," you will land on a scan screen that will allow you to scan the pass and tag of each guest as they arrive. Once you scan the first student, you can either select next or select "Submit" to push that student through to the master class. Additionally, you can continue to scan students as they arrive and submit these students in batches.

### **Check Ticket (now Guest Lookup)**

Check Ticket allows resort staff to scan a guest's lesson media to ensure that there is a valid product attached to that ticket on the day of. For a guest with pass media, a resort staff member can select "Check Ticket" and scan that media on the next page of the scanner. The scanner will look up the guest information from the point of sale.&#x20;

* If the guest has a valid product for that day, the scanner will display a large green check mark and the sold lesson details.&#x20;
* If the pass does not have a valid product for the day, the scanner will display a large red X. If this occurs, it does not mean that there is not a valid product attached to that pass, it just means there isn't a valid lesson attached to the pass for today.&#x20;
