How to update the VIP status of a lesson participant
Overview
In order to highlight guests who you want to pay special attention to, you can mark them as a VIP in Class Management. When you mark someone as a VIP, they will appear with the crown icon next to their name. You will see the crown icon appear in the class list as well.
VIP status can only be updated in Class Management. Therefore:
The guest must exist in a class. This can happen in a number of ways; you can pre-assign guests in Scheduling which will generate a class, you can scan them in, and you can also manually create a class using Class Management on both mobile and desktop.
Because a class can only exist on the current day or a day in the past, you can only adjust VIP status when the guest has already participated in a lesson.
How to update VIP status
Navigate to Class Management
Find the desired class and click on it. A pop-up window with the class details will appear.


Click the Guest information tab on the left
This will pull up the list of all the guests attending this class.

Click the desired guest's name
This will reveal all information on file for the guest.

Click Edit and then toggle the checkbox labelled "This guest is a VIP."

Next, hit Save, and you're all set.


The VIP crown icon will now appear alongside the guest. It will also be highlighted in the class list as well so you can tell at a glance when you have a VIP in a lesson.
