You can update any of the fields (other than Task Type) such as Description, Start & End times, Discipline, etc. {% hint style="info" %} Please note: the Task Type cannot be modified after initial creation {% endhint %} You will also have the ability to Sync with POS and connect a POS activity by searching for the related activity in your Point of Sale system. {% hint style="warning" %} **IMPORTANT: The POS Activity selected governs the ability of flaik to talk to your Point of Sale. Make sure that you know what you are doing prior to modifying. If you have any hesitations regarding this, please reach out to us before making any changes.** {% endhint %} ### **Task Types** There are five options of Task Type when creating a new Task * Hold/Block - unpaid hours, such as for holding an instructor for an impending private request booking. * Non-Teaching - to schedule staff for other paid work duties, such as sign in, meet & greet, fencing, shoveling, etc. Paid tasks don't count towards Teaching Hours calculations. * Private Lesson * Program - for multi-week programs. Allows program dates to be added, [which has multiple benefits](/flaik-knowledge-base/for-administrators/multi-week-programs.md). * Group Lesson #### Task Type Comparison Which fields are available for the various task types? ### Deleting Tasks Tasks can only be deleted before they're used in a season.
