flaik Tag Removal Key

Upon deployment, the flaik GPS tag is encased in the red plastic cage with a black rubber strap component. Occasionally the cage or the strap will break and need to be replaced mid-season. In preparation for this scenario, flaik will deploy some replacement cage/straps for resorts to replace these pieces as necessary.

Along with the extra cage/straps, we will deploy our custom flaik tag removal key. This tool allows for quick and easy de-caging of the flaik tags so that the cage/strap can be replaced.

Steps-

1. Place the tag on a hard surface with the back of the tag facing up.

2. On the end of the tag where the circular silver charging contacts can be seen, press the tip of the removal key into the space between the tag and the cage.

3. Press the removal key back and down towards the surface where the tag is sitting until the tag becomes ajar.

4. While holding the cage, press with your fingers on the front side of the tag (on the QR code /tag sticker) to then pull the tag completely loose from the cage.

5. Place the tag in a new cage/strap and click it into place.
