Tag Reporting

Within the Reports section of your resort's flaik site, two different GPS tag-related reports are available. Navigate to Reporting, select the desired date(s) from the date selector, and choose from either the "Tags not returned" report or the "Tags used report."

Available with Reporting permissions, two GPS tag specific reports that come in handy for tag accounting.

'Tags Not Returned' Report-

This report will outline any tags that are deemed to be missing or not returned for a specified date range. A student or instructor tag can be flagged as returned, and excluded from this report based on the following criteria:

  • The flaik tag has been docked back on the power station after use (it then communicates to the system it is currently docked and therefore, returned)

  • A subsequent student or instructor has been scanned in with the flaik tag indicating it was returned for the previous student or instructor

This report can be configured to include "tags in Tag Return Areas" or not.

Tag Return Areas can be customized via request directly with flaik and are geofenced zones indicating that any tags within that zone are in a "return area" and therefore are not actually missing. For example, if there is a specific spot where all instructors are to leave tags at the end of the day that differs from where they get charged, flaik has the ability to geofence that specific spot so those tags do not show up as missing on the Tags Not Returned report. Example report from Whislter Blackcomb where the use of geofencing is utilized to narrow in on missing tag locations.

Suggested Use Case-

  1. Run this report at the end of the day exclusive of the current date. This will allow the team to pinpoint what tags have not been returned on the current day and track them down quickly and efficiently since they likely will have battery left and have a real-time location.

  2. Run this report weekly including the full season dates. This will allow the team to follow up with any specific person who may still have a tag that needs to be returned from a prior lesson.

'Tags Used Report'-

This report allows the user to download a precise list of tags used on a certain date or date range and outlines Tag ID, Used Count, and Last Used date. It can aid in determining how many tags are necessary for certain days or holiday periods.
