Hot Dock Charging Setup
Recommended setup for hot dock charging.
If utilizing hot docks (black metal trays that tag charging docks can slide in and out of), follow these procedures to securely set up the hot dock charging station.

Method -

Place hot dock in desired location and insert bolts in two front cutouts down through hot dock.

2 large washers, 2 low-profile bolts, & 2 nuts necessary for install.

Secure bolts by placing the washer on first and then hand tightening the nut.
Ensure the hot dock cords are trailing off the back of the shelving unit and secure with zip ties or other cord management solutions. Once a power source is established the units can be plugged in.
Mounting docks facing forward is the recommended best practice. This allows easy access to the tags and also allows the user to easily slide an entire dock of tags out as needed. If mounted back to back or in other configurations, these maneuvers become more challenging.
Once mounted, place the tag dock in the hot dock to ensure it's secure to the shelving unit and that the tray can easily slide in and out.

With the recommended shelving size, three hot docks can fit side-by-side. Below is an example of a shelving unit setup to charge 300 tags (12 hot docks):

Ensure proper power distribution. We recommend consulting with the resort infrastructure/electrical experts to ensure outlets are not overloaded with too many units plugged in. Only use a small commercial power strip when necessary and do not overload single outlets to charge many docks.
Alternative Mounting Method [flat solid shelving/surface]
Hot docks can also be mounted to flat solid shelving units or other surfaces utilizing small squares of foam mounting tape. Instead of the washer/bolt setup, place one small square of mounting tape on each bottom corner of the hot dock and stick it down to the shelving unit.
