HW300x and HW400x flaik GPS Tracking Devices

The flaik GPS Tracking Device is a wearable GPS device that uses both a cellular network and GPS signal to provide real-time and historic GPS data associated with the wearer of the device. A Tracking Device is generally referred to as a “Tag" and is designed to be worn comfortably around the calf, above the ski boot, secured by a plastic cage and adjustable rubber strap.

Once charged, powered on, and removed from a dock charger, a GPS tag will work to acquire both a Cellular Network Signal and a GPS Signal. Upon being undocked, the tag LED will turn yellow until both the Cellular and GPS Signals are acquired, at which point the Tag LED will turn green, giving the user a visual confirmation that the device is functioning as it should. A tag should be able to operate for roughly 18-20 hours on a single charge if the battery is fully charged and has not degraded.

If a tag is powered off, it will turn on immediately upon being placed on the dock, or once the battery has charged enough to provide power to a tag after being placed on the dock.

There are two types of devices currently in use (2023/24 season), HW300x and HW400x. HW300x runs on the 3G network and all of our Canadian resorts utilize this device. HW400x runs on the 4G network and all of our US and Australian resorts utilize this device.
