Class Management - Tag Finder

Under the Class Management section of flaik, the Tag Finder can be accessed and utilized to cross-reference tag locations in real-time to locate missing tags from the Tags Not Returned report.

Once Tag Finder is open, there are two options for searching for missing tags and as a user, you can navigate between the two from the upper right-hand side of the screen.

  1. Locate Tags

  2. Missing Tags

Select either 'Locate Tags' or Missing Tags' from the upper right

Locate Tags

This section allows for quick input of a tag ID into the search field and a precise location on the map of the last known location of that specific tag. If the tag has run out of battery or is currently in a location with minimal cell coverage/GPS signal, the age of those datapoints will increase. If the tag is still active and moving around, the point will move on the map and will continually update comms/GPS.

Example of tag YETIS-1, indicating it was last seen at the Whistler Blackcomb Administration building 77 days ago. The tag shows a "no GPS" icon meaning it ran out of battery or lost comms/GPS, and has not been on power for 77 days.

Tag Finder, Locate Tags is a great tool to use in conjunction with the Tags Not Returned Report to find tag locations in real-time to track them down quickly and efficiently.
