Group Pre-Assignment
Build your classes in advance by dragging and dropping guests onto the schedule
Similar to how you can assign private lessons in advance, you can also assign group lesson participants to instructors ahead of time. To do this, you can use the group pre-assignment feature.
Building your group lessons with group pre-assignment is a cinch. On the left side of Tasks view, you'll see the Guests tab. To pre-assign a guest to an instructor, simply drag & drop their name over the task on the schedule you'd like to assign them to.

NOTE: When assigning a guest, you will only be able to drop them onto the task that corresponds with the type lesson they purchased. So, for example, you will not be able to drop a full day lesson participant into a half day task.
Once you drop some guests into a task, hover over the task and click the eye icon to bring up more details about it. The guests you added will show up under Guest information.

If you use group pre-assignment in Scheduling, then Class Management will pull your assignments into the class list automatically on the day they are scheduled to occur. If you're working on the current day or a day in the past, the class list will automatically update after you save your changes.
If Class Management picks up on a change you made in Scheduling, you'll see a notification that the class list has been updated:

Clicking this notification will bring you right into Class Management where you can review the class list.
Another way you can confirm that your pre-assigned groups are in Class Management is via the grey bar that pops up over the task. In this context, the grey bar will read "CLASS," as you can see here:

Whenever you see a grey bar in flaik, it indicates that data exists in another area of the site, like Training or Timekeeping. You can click on a grey bar to bring up more detail.
In this case, the grey bar means a class exists in Class Management for this instructor, on this day, and at this time. So, the guests we added to this task were automatically added to the class list, no scanning or manual entry required.
💡 Easy, right? Using group pre-assignment is a handy way to get your class list sorted ahead of time, which means you've got less classes to scan in during lineup.
