New-and-improved tasks panel

All your tasks. All your guests. Now reorganized for speedy scheduling.

In Scheduling, the tasks panel is where you find... well, everything you need to build out your schedule. This summer, we've made some clever improvements to the tasks panel that will make it much easier to find tasks, schedule guests, and stay on top of the items that still need your attention.

Toggle between the two tabs below for a comparison. Hungry for more details? Stay on this page for a deep dive.

Highlights

🗄️ General reorganization

The Tasks tab and Guests tab are now combined into a singular view. All you need to do is open a scheduling area, click on a task, and voilà! The relevant guests will appear.

In order to keep things organized, teaching tasks and non-teaching tasks are now kept in separate spaces. This will speed up your scheduling workflow by allowing you to focus on lessons first and foremost.

🎯 Only show tasks with sales

We’ve also added a quick toggle to filter the list down to just the tasks with sales. Toggling this filter on will dramatically reduce the list of visible tasks, which is especially useful if you have a lot of them. (It's okay - we don't judge.)

✅ Check the status

Now that all guests are organized within the task they belong to, we introduced a new way to view their status in order to distinguish between those who are scheduled, those not scheduled, and everything in between.

Status definitions

Universal statuses

Not scheduled

Guests who have not yet been assigned to an instructor will appear here.

Conflict

Any lessons in conflict will show up here, highlighted in red.

Scheduled

This is what we want to see! These are lessons that have been assigned to an instructor.

Statuses specific to Bookings

Pending supervisor approval

Booking offers that require the supervisor team to approve of them will be displayed here.

Pending guest confirmation

Here, you will find booking offers that have been sent to the guest, but not yet confirmed.

🔍 Find guests right where you left 'em

As we mentioned above, scheduled guests will now remain nested within their task rather than all lumped together in a totally separate category. This means that, if you need to find a guest who you already scheduled, you can just go click into their task once again.

You can also search for guests and tasks via the search bar above the panel.
